Backyard Bird Watching

Join us at the P. J. Ahern Home on Saturday, May 26, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.  for “Backyard Bird Watching," a beginner’s guide to finding, identifying, and documenting local birds. Attendees should wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to spend time outside. Cost is $5 each or free to TMS Members. This family friendly event is designed for all ages. Guests are encouraged to download the Cornell Lab eBird and Merlin apps, both available for free through iTunes and Google Play, prior to the event. These apps allow users to share data and offers tools for bird identification. Participants are welcome to bring their own binoculars and digital devices to the event.
